Starting My Meal Planning Business

Two years ago, I earned my certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. My goal in achieving this certificate was to continue on my path of health and wellness. Fitness and nutrition are two things that I am passionate about, even though there are many times I have lost motivation.

Last week, I was challenged by my husband to create meal plans. I am starting with both vegan and vegetarian meal plans. Once I have proven success with that, I will narrow my plans down to strictly vegan meal plans. With the money I earn from my meal plans, I will get re-certified as a Fitness Trainer through ISSA (International Sports Sciences Association).

Before I made my free 5-Day Meal Plan, I started to reflect on why I want to go down this path. Currently, our world faces a deadly pandemic, and it’s clear, now more than ever, how important it is to take care of yourself. Not only by staying home whenever possible and wearing a mask in public, but also by eating right and exercising.

Personally, my anxiety has been worse since this pandemic hit our state. Worrying about getting sick in addition to the challenge of homeschooling my daughter has been difficult. Exercise and a healthy diet has proved to be great ways in improving my mood. Despite knowing that, the motivation to continue my fitness journey has declined and become almost non-existent lately. While I am lucky enough to have a gym inside my home, my fridge and pantry have been stocked with unhealthy junk food. And in the four short months since the pandemic hit, I’ve gained almost fifteen pounds. Yikes!

Learning to embrace every part of my fitness journey

Creating these meal plans, and filming live videos making plant-based recipes, I am gaining the motivation to eat healthier. Diet has always been a struggle for me, but I know with Plant POW! I will be able to stay consistent.

There are so many benefits to meal planning, including saving time and money. And if the weeks meals are already planned out, there’s no temptation to turn to unhealthy foods. My personal goal in meal planning for myself is to lose weight and feel better about myself. I will be taking this journey alongside everyone who chooses Plant POW! Meal Plans.

I can customize meal plans based on your goals, whether those be to lose weight, save money or make healthy meals for your family. Send me a message here and check out my Facebook page for more details!
